DAVID BILLER
PUBLIC INSURANCE ADJUSTER & ATTORNEY AT LAW
David Biller, son of our founder, Meyer Biller, is our lead adjuster and attorney on staff. Advocating for the public is in his blood and is his passion.

David grew up in East Haven, CT. He graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts Degree from Colgate University and holds a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. In addition to being a public adjuster, he is also a licensed attorney.

David learned, at a very young age, from his Dad, how to pick up every last detail of damage, analyze an insurance policy and how to navigate the claim process. David has spent his entire life developing unique and unmatched skills to represent his clients.

David lives in Wallingford, CT with his family. In addition to fighting for his clients, David is passionate about giving back to his community and remains active in a variety of local charities and he is on the Board of Directors for Easter Seals and Goodwill. David is known and respected throughout the industry as one of the foremost authorities in the field of public adjusting and you can often hear him on the radio or see him on the network news educating the public on the insurance claim process.

Joe Kelly
CERTIFIED PUBLIC INSURANCE ADJUSTER
Joe Kelly is a Certified Public Insurance Adjuster and is an an expert appraiser focused on making sure you receive the maximum settlement for your household or commercial damages or loss.

Joe joined the Biller Associates team in 2019 and quickly became a favorite of our clients due to his prompt follow up, genuine care for people, his hard work and laser focused attention to detail.

When you are faced with a disaster, call 911 then Biller and you can be certain that Joe Kelly will go the extra mile to ensure you are well taken care of.

Joe grew up in West Haven, raised his family in Cheshire and resides in Hamden CT. When he isn’t helping clients, he enjoys attending concerts, baseball, football, grilling and discovering new restaurants.

    LAURA CUPO
    CLAIMS ASSISTANT
    Laura is the first point of contact for many Biller client’s and acts as an important Liaison between the adjuster and the client. She makes sure everyone is informed on the process of their claim. For 12 years she has been coordinating claims and taking care of important issues; finding your family temporary housing, finding your business temporary office facilities, and reclaiming depreciation monies you may be owed at the end of you claim process.

    Laura has a degree in Business Management from Boston University. Before coming to Biller Associates she was in the IT field.

      DONNA VINCI
      CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR
      Donna has been with Biller Associates for 15 years. As a senior member of our office staff, she knows the insurance business inside and out. She is involved in business administration and customer service. She is the frontline for initial claims reporting. Donna expedites the claim process and helps coordinate the process from the beginning to the conclusion of your claim. She will also help our clients deal with their mortgage company after the claim is settled.

      Most importantly, Donna is sensitive to our client’s needs as they go through this difficult time.

        MELISSA NASH COURY
        SENIOR APPRAISER
        We are lucky to have Melissa as a key member of our team. She is a certified Fine Arts and Antiques Appraiser with a special emphasis on scholarly and rare books, antiques and decorative arts. As an expert appraiser she will make sure your full household or business is fully covered from any loss or damage.

        Melissa is a member of the New England Appraisers Association, American Library Association, former board member of the Albert Schweitzer Foundation of Connecticut, the Salvation Army Regional Board (Albany, NY) and the Capital Region Library Association (Hartford, CT).

        She has a B.A. from California State University of Los Angeles and an M.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to her B.A. and M.A., Melissa was a Princeton University Regional Studies Fellow, Department of Oriental Studies; A Bayard Still Fellow in History, NYU; a Post-Master’s Research Fellow, American University in Cairo, Egypt; and holds a Diplome d’Etudes Supererieures, Universite de Dijon, France.
